An intelligent power solution
The internal Fort batteries can be charged by AC, genset, and renewables such as solar PV and even a wind turbine.
A full data logging system allows complete visibility of your asset anywhere and enables both system owner and operator to collect ESG data, view performance and make limited setting changes to optimise power use. In addition, one of the output sockets has a manual timer that ensures any equipment accidentally left on after working hours (eg a heater in a welfare cabin), is auto turned off and does not drain the Fort battery overnight.
Likewise, Fort’s intelligent electronics will auto start a genset to ensure the Fort battery is fully charged before the end of the working day to ensure night-time power can be silently supplied by the Fort battery.
If you need a complete stand alone off grid power solution with limited or zero reliance on additional power sources (such as genset), for example, at a remote glamping site in the UK, a health centre in rural Kenya or in response to disaster relief effort then the Fort PV is for you.
Space saving and portable
The Fort PV includes all the same innovations and capabilities of the Fort but included within its enclosure are 18 x 190wp solar panels (3.42kw array), each with its own support stand allowing super-fast deployment and easy coupling to the Fort PV box. If there is not sufficient space to allow the panels to be ground mounted, select the unique roof mounting frame optional accessory that allows the solar array to be built on the ground and craned onto the roof of a standard 20ft shipping container or cabin. Secured into the ISO locks on the container or jack legs on the cabin ensures total security. This space saving innovation also fits inside the Fort PV enclosure allowing unrivalled portability all housed within a tiny 1.2 x 1.2m footprint that can be transported by standard pallet freight or even between the wheel arches of a pickup truck.
7 Year Switch program
Supplied with an industry leading 5-year warranty, all Fort customers have the option to join our unique Lifos 7 Year Switch program, which provides a brand new battery stack and critical internal electronics at the end of year 7 for less than 30%* of the cost of a new Fort or Fort PV, thus extending the life expectancy of your asset to 15 to 20 years and therefore giving outstanding return on investment all backed up by the Lifos Tech Support Team.
